What is Vomiting?
Vomiting is the act of forceful expulsion of food, fluids or contents of stomach from mouth.
Causes:
Vomiting is not an independent disease but your bodies response to underlying health conditions. Vomiting can be caused by numerous factors.
- Gastrointestinal infections
- Motion Sickness
- Ear infection
- Morning Sickness due to Pregnancy
- Food poisoning
- Side effects of Chemotherapy
- Side effects of medications
- Vomiting sometimes can be a symptom of tuberculosis
Home Remedies:
- Wood Apple & Black Pepper
- Mix 250 grams of Wood Apple (Bel) Leaves with 250 grams of Black Pepper
- Fine grind the mixture to powder form
- Consume the powder once a day. This helps in gradual healing
- Cardamom, Mint, Long Pepper
- Mix equal amounts of Cardamom (Sukmel), Mint (Pudina) and Long Pepper (Peepla)
- Grind the mixture to powder form
- Consume 2 teaspoon with warm water
- Garlic, Thyme, Mint, Clove & Salt
- Extract Juice from 5-5 leaves of Garlic (Lasun) and Mint (Pudina)
- Add few grams of Thymes (Jwano) & Cloves (Lwang) in powder form and few pinches of Salt to the extracted juice
- Consume for instant results
- In case of Infants:
- Add 3-4 grams of powder of bark of Wood Apple (Bel) tree in hot water and leave for 4-5 hours
- Filter the water with clean cotton cloth
- Add Barley flour and 1-2 teaspoon of sugar
- Feed your child with the mixture
- Sucking on a piece of Camphor helps.
- Prepare Bitter Gourd (Tite Karela) leaves juice and drink 5-6 tablespoons
- Consume the mixture of Black Myrobalan (Chebulic Myrobalan, Harro) in powder form with Honey.
- Consume Onion Syrup/Juice.
